Craig W. Colville, M.D.

Dr. Colville was
born in St. Louis Missouri.
He attended Indiana
University in Bloomington,
Indiana
and graduated with honors in 1979. He received his Doctorate of Medicine at The
Indiana University School of Medicine in 1983.
Internship and residency in general surgery were completed at The Indiana
University Medical Center from 1983-1988.
His residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery was at
Indiana
University
Medical
Center, under Dr. James
Bennett, finishing in June of 1990.
Post residency training has included further training in laser surgery, cosmetic
surgery, and cosmetic endoscopic surgery.
Dr. Colville
is Board Certified in both general surgery (not active) and plastic surgery.
In the past his practice has encompassed a broad range of plastic and
reconstructive surgery procedures.
He currently limits his practice to cosmetic surgery, which includes facial
rejuvenation, such as facelift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and chemical peels.
Cosmetic breast surgeries include: augmentation, breast lift and breast
reduction. Body contour procedures
include: abdominoplasty, body lift, ultrasonic and powered liposuction.
Dr. Colville
also performs a broad range of non-surgical or less invasive procedures – BOTOX®
Cosmetic, Restylane,
JUVÉDERM™
injectable gel, and Thermage.
He also devotes time to breast reconstruction and skin cancer
treatment/reconstruction.
Dr. Colville
is a Fellow in the American
College of Surgeons
(F.A.C.S.), and an active member in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as
well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
He received two additional certificates for Advanced Education in
Cosmetic Surgery from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr.
Colville is actively involved in silicone breast implant
research, as well as, injectable skin filler research for rejuvenation of the
skin (
JUVÉDERM™
injectable gel clinical trials). He
has twice been Chief of Plastic Surgery at The Toledo Hospital and has surgical
privileges at every hospital and surgical center in the
Toledo
and Northwest Ohio area.
In addition, Dr. Colville is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at
the Medical Center
at the University
of Toledo.
He serves on the medical advisory board for the
Victory Center which provides services to cancer
patients and their families.
